Article Title:	IBM's S/390 users face higher charges
	Source:	vnunet
	URL:	http://www.vnunet.com/News/1108051 ...
	Date:	03 Aug 2000

Editor's Summary: According to the Meta Group, IBM S/390 customers are facing higher prices at the high end since Hitachi Data Systems (HDS) decided to stop specializing in the platform. The group says IBM is “exploiting S/390’s dominant mainframe market position to maximize hardware/software revenues and profitability at the expense of users and S/390's long-term growth prospects".
