Sun Microsystems Inc. and Vignette Corp., maker of electronic commerce software, on Thursday said they had reached an expansive agreement to jointly develop, market and sell e-commerce products worldwide. This agreement is very similar to one Vignette entered into with Sun rival IBM on August 3. The agreement would initially focus on jointly developing the next-generation of electronic business suite of products -- initially targeting the new media and telecommunication markets, including wireless. |
